Avery Won't Play Thursday

According to Andrew Gross of Ranger Rants, Sean Avery who has been practicing with the team wearing an orange non-contact jersey will not play on Thursday. Avery has not yet played for the Rangers this season (missing the first three games), since getting injured during the final week of training camp.

Avery has said that if all goes according to plan that he should be ready to play Sunday in New York against the Ducks.
